Mechanics Lien Placed on our Home
We received a letter from the orange county clerk recorder a few months after. The letter stated that a mechanics lien was filed our home by the roofing supplier. I contacted the owner Mike Matusiak and was told to pay the suppliers myself. Mike was uncooperative and refused to help. I found out that he has also scammed other unsuspecting home owners as well. I quickly filed a complaint with the contractors state license board. The board was absolutely did nothing other then mentioning to file suit against the contractor or the bond. I called the bond and filed a claim. The claim is now in court and due to a number of claims against the bond the court will now split the amounts between all the claims.

The supplier has retracted as they were in fact paid and SHOULD NOT have sent lien notice but they were anxious as the economy effects them FIRST!
this is not true we still havnt been paid on numerous projects from mike and a-1 factory direct roofing - and other supply houses are in the same boat with mike and a-1 roofing - all trusted him and all got cheated ALL no exceptions he is a drain on the community and the economics of our industry
