Wow..I am shocked to hear about this.
I have been using Michael and A1 for ALL my gutter and roofing issues. I have a very large home and the problems I had where NEVER resolved for YEARS after spending thousands of dollars with other roofing companies. No matter how much we spent we continued to have inside home damage.
Because I have homes in other states I DREAD contractors.
Michael was honest and quick and most important the job was done RIGHT. I only found this site because his number was out of service and I looked up his website. I wanted to replace more gutters (house is 8000sq ft).
I don't know what happened but I pray he is just going through a rough time. I have no idea who I am going to call now.

Now he's working for some guy name nicholas roofing. He's back to his old ways scaming people. Whatch out for him. He came to fix my roof a couple years ago. He charged me for the supplies and the labor, but never paid for the supplies. The supplier tried to come after me. He is nothing but a fraud. He needs to go back to prison where he belongs.
We were JUST scammed by michael L. Matusiak a few weeks ago - sorry I didn't google his name before we gave him $ 1,000.00 to fix our roof - needless to say, our roof STILL leaks ! After repeatedly trying to reach him, he does not return phone calls.
Too bad he's not STILL in prison !!
He has no license. It was revoked by the contractors board. Take him to court. Did he tell you he had a license? That is illegal if he did. He scams ALL his customers. He takes your money and runs.
I found OC Roofing on Angie's List! (Angie's list did not do enough research until I let them know.) We got royally scammed! He has had a history of fraud and he was sentence to prison for two years. Check it out yourself. Put in Michael Lee Matusiak in the Orange County Superior Court website. Click criminal cases. Put in his name. There is so much info on his crimes. He is a felon.) We used him March 24th, 2011 since he was a top pick for Angie's List. (He has since been removed from the website) and I paid him 1250 dollars for the "hack job." He only gooped up a can of "henrys" and made a fricking mess. The job is so bad that a five year old could do it. That is what all three real roofers said. He is a professional scammer. He is a fast talker, friendly and charming. All part of the "hook!" I called him to ask him to fix it and he said he did the job right. He did not. I have had three "licensed" contractors come out and say that this person did not know what he was doing. He would have been better off putting plastic on the roof. Please do not use this company. You will be very sorry that you did. He drives around in a van labelled ROOF DOCTOR!
He needs to get some mental help.
